WHAT IS VITRIFIED ENAMEL?

Vitreous enamel is a long-lasting inorganic coating, the result of fusing powdered glass with a substrate through a heating process, usually between 750 and 850C. The powder melts and grows to harden, forming a long-lasting smooth, glazed opening in the metal.
